  • MSc in Mathematics, College of Basic Education, University of Duhok, 2020.
  • BSc of Mathematics, College of Basic Education, University of Duhok, 2010.

Since 2020, I have been a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Basic Education, University of Duhok. Throughout my academic career, I have taught a range of undergraduate courses, including Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Complex Analysis. My teaching philosophy emphasizes developing students’ analytical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through a balance of theoretical foundations and practical applications. I am committed to creating an engaging learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, active participation, and academic excellence. Through continuous teaching and mentoring, I strive to support students in building a strong mathematical background for their future academic and professional pursuits.

My research focuses on Ordinary Differential Equations and Fractional Differential Equations, with particular interest in questions of existence and uniqueness of solutions, qualitative behavior, and the development of analytical and numerical solution methods. I am drawn to problems that sit at the boundary between rigorous theoretical analysis and practical applicability — especially where differential equations serve as models for complex phenomena in applied mathematics and related scientific fields. Within this broader framework, I am especially interested in the potential of fractional-order models to capture behaviors that classical integer-order equations cannot adequately describe.

Since 2020, I have supervised final-year undergraduate projects in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Basic Education, University of Duhok. My supervision focuses primarily on Ordinary Differential Equations, where I guide students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills through independent research. I mentor students in exploring mathematical models, solution techniques, and applications of differential equations, while supporting them in academic writing, presentation, and research methodology. Through this role, I aim to foster critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and a deeper understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
